  • General hotel check in time is 1400 hrs. And check out time is 12 noon.

  • Hotels mentioned in the itinerary will be on availability basis at the time of the confirmation of the tour. In the event the said hotels are not available, similar hotels will be provided in the same vicinity or nearest location
  • Above rates are net and non-commissionable and include all taxes
  • The quote is based on standard category rooms of respective hotels, unless mentioned specifically. Higher category rooms could be arranged on request at a surcharge.
  • The prices are subject to change without prior notice in the event of government tax revisions, Change or fluctuation of currency used, Change of Transport-Hotel or related site entry fees etc.
  • Tickets obtained to visit archeological sites will not be refunded if you cancel the tour last minute or whilst on tour, due to any reason. (No refund for unutilized tickets).
  • Star ratings are for guidance purpose only.
  • Tour programs could be changed or rerouted due to natural causes or unavoidable other conditions which are beyond our control. Such changes will be done in consultation with guests locally as and when required for the best interest of the safety and comfort of guests.
  • All clients are reminded to have their own travel insurance with sufficient coverage for all unforeseen tragedies. In the very unlikely event of any accident or personal injury during any part of the tour the responsibility of damage caused by any personal effects or bodily will be at clients own risk.
  • Optional excursions could be provided on request as per additional, applicable rates.
  • All visits to Parks, Sites, and tour places are at clients own risk.
  • Jeeps used for wild life park visits are basic and are not comprehensively insured.

Cancellation Policy:

  1. [30 to 21 days prior to arrival]: 25% of the Trip value will be retained by HVPL
  2. [20 to 10 Days prior to arrival]: 50% of the Trip value will be retained by HVPL
  3. [9 to 2 days prior to arrival]: 75% of the Trip value will be retained by HVPL
  4. Less than 2 days prior to arrival: 90% of the Trip value will be retained by HVPL
  5. No show: 100% of the Trip value will be retained by HVPL

During peak season (December 15th to March 15th and from July 15th till August 15th) cancellation one month before tour start may incur the cost of up to 100% of the package.

Please notify HVPL of any changes regarding your travel plans in writing as early as possible. Most hotels, airlines, and suppliers charge a 100% cancellation fee for changes


Brief Itinerary

Day 01: Departure from (TIA) Kathmandu and Arrival – Colombo Airport Sri-Lanka

After arriving in Sri-Lanka airport (Colombo) you meet our tour guide representative in the airport. And transfer to the hotel in Pinnanwala.

After that Transfer to Kandy, The orphanage was created to protect abandoned and orphaned elephants. It has now grown into a popular elephant attraction in the country and with good reason, for nowhere else except at Pageants (processions) are you likely to see so many elephants at close quarters. There are many elephants in residence from babies to young adults.  Among the attractions, you will be able to witness elephants being lead to a nearby river for bathing. You could also see the feeding of the baby elephants which is the highlight.

In the evening visit cultural performance in Kandy. View a colorful cultural performance of Kandyan Dancers. The finale is a display of fire-walking. Overnight stay at hotel in Kandy

 Day 02: Kandy –Nuwara Eliya (Duration: Approx 3 – 4 hrs)

After breakfast visits Temple of Tooth Relic: Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha (Sri Dalada Maligawa), which houses the most important Relic of the Buddhists in Sri Lanka. A gold canopy was erected some years ago over the roof of the shrine room where it is placed.

Kandy -Nuwara Eliya

After that transfer to Nuwara Eliya, The ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of mountains, valleys, waterfalls and tea plantations and is 6,200 feet above sea level. In 1826 some British Officers out on shooting chanced on Nuwara Eliya plains, and Sir Edward Barnes investigated on it. In 1828 a road was constructed over the ridge at Ramboda Pass and a station for convalescent soldiers was established. It was Sir Samuel Baker who fell under the spell of Nuwara Eliya, brought hounds, horses, cattle, sheep etc. and started a typical English farm here. Flowers and vegetable were brought from England and planted. It is supposed to be one of the coldest places on the Island but is really just like an England spring day although the temperature does drop at night. The Victoria Park, in the middle of the town, is a lovely place for a stroll or a picnic.

Visit the Seeta Kovil Nuwara Eliya, “Seeta Kovil” (Hanuman Kovil) is found on the Nuwara Eliya to Badulla road is located “Seetha Eliya”. The folklore about this area is related to the Ramayana in Hinduism. Folklore says that the mighty king Ravana kidnapped princess Seetha who was the queen of Rama and hid her in this place where the temple is now built. Overnight stay at hotel in Nuwara Eliya


Day 03: Nuwara Eliya – Yala  (Duration: Approx 3-4 hrs)

After breakfast transfer to Yala and do the evening Safari. The largest (1,300 SQ km) and the most famous of the Sri Lanka’s national parks is Yala, in the south eastern corner of the island.  Here the forests are dry thorn shrub, interspersed with small dusty glades. Yala has one of the world’s densest leopard populations. Elephants are also well-known inhabitants and you will probably see sloth bears, spotted deer, wild boars, crocodiles, buffaloes, mongoose, jackals, and monkeys.  Around 150 species of birds have been recorded at Yala, which includes the resident and winter visitors.  These birds include white-winged black terns, curlews, and pintails.  Locals include jungle fowl, horn bills, and Orioles. Overnight stay at a hotel in Yala.


Day 04: Yala– Unawatuna (Duration: Approx 4-5 hrs)

After breakfast transfer to Unawatuna, After that do the city tour in Galle. In the evening transfer to Galle and do the city tour. Galle is the capital city of the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. The town has a World Heritage Site to its name and that is predominantly responsible for its popularity with tourists. This is the 300-year-old Dutch Fort, but there are other historical buildings to view as well. Overnight stay at Hotel in Unawatuna.


Day 05: Unawatuna –Bentota (Duration: Approx 1-2 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Bentota. En- route visit Hikkaduwa corals.  After that visit Kosgoda turtle hatchery. Kosgoda is famous for its turtle hatchery- Visitors can see huge tanks filled with new born turtle hatchlings.  After being fed, the baby turtles are taken to the sea and released when they are 2-4 days old, usually during the safer hours of darkness.  Although October to April is the main laying season, some eggs can be found at Kosgoda throughout the Year. Overnight stay at Hotel in Bentota.


Day 06: Bentota –Colombo (Duration: Approx 1-2 hrs)

After breakfast transfer to Colombo City tour with Shopping, A drive through the city will take you to Fort and Pettah – the commercial area of the city and tree-lined Colombo 7 – Cinnamon Gardens.  Colombo 3, 4, 5 & 8 are the prime residential areas of the City. The Hindu Temple at Sea Street – lined with goldsmith shops, the Dutch Church at Wolfendhal dating back to 1749, the historic Devatagaha Mosque, Independence Square, BMICH, Gangaramaya Temple and Colombo Museum are some of the attractions in Colombo. Overnight stay at a hotel in Colombo.


Day: 07 Final Departure Colombo – Kathmandu    (Duration Approx.-1-2 hrs)

After breakfast transfer to the airport for final departure.
